How does online car auction bidding work?
Browse live listings, place your bid, and the highest bidder when the timer ends wins. All bids are visible in real time. You pay the hammer price plus a 5% buyer fee.
What is anti-sniping protection?
If a bid is placed in the final 2 minutes, the auction timer extends automatically. This prevents last-second sniping and gives all bidders a fair chance to respond.
What happens after I win an auction?
You pay Finds the 5% buyer fee within 5 business days. Once the fee is paid, the seller's contact details are unlocked and emailed to you. You then pay the seller the hammer price directly and arrange pickup or transport.
Are the vehicles inspected before listing?
Every listing is reviewed by the Finds team before going live. We check photos, descriptions, and documentation. However, we recommend buyers inspect vehicles in person or hire an independent inspector before bidding.
